First off, I am an auctioneer and have received a collection for an estate sale I am having for the family of a local friend. I am not wanting values, just wanting an ID on chassis's. I have 19 non body chassis, close to 80 cars, some with motors, some without. I have a Holy Grail Late 1967 Mike Steube Signed Frog Sidewinder chassis that has never been raced or had a motor in it, car body done by Eddie Mac in the UK. ,I do know some of the chassis are Unsigned Mike Steube, Jim Mace & John Sukras. Some bodies by Lee Geltner, Eddie Mac and John David Russo/AB Slots. 20 Hoffman Slot Car Boxes. Many parts and bodies. Lots of Strombecker Track. Just wanting some identification so I can attain the most dollar for Bruce's Estate, mainly his grandson. Bruce was also my friend.
The Estate is for Bruce Wolfe, formerly from Iowa, passed away in Washington. Bruce was an avid slot car racer going back to 1963. His racing went beyond slot cars to go carts, street rods, funny cars then dragsters. If it involved racing, Bruce was there. Lee Geltner was a close friend of his.
Some of the chassis's I have not been able to ID yet: Last 2 photos of Frog Sidewinder

3rd & 4th photo down is a JK flexi production chassis, maybe a Cheetah 21?
6th photo, the third chassis from the left is built with BEE (Brady-Emott Enterprises) parts. These parts were generally available everywhere & might have been assembled by anybody.
7th photo, the left & middle chassis are Cobra production Grp.12s. The chassis on the right was user-assembled from Ferret/Phaze III parts.
I don't recognize who built the other wire chassis. Someone may recognize them if they were built by someone they raced with locally. My own racing was confined to New England except for a couple trips to MD & NY. Others may be of more help identifying them.

I'd love to see more of Steube's Frogwinder (?) chassis. I've never seen one of his jail doors before.

Jim,
Look at the box 2 pictures up with the "SpeedShop" cars. I think the #2 car on the left is the one you're looking for...

Don, the droparm isn't engraved on that one tn the box, but you are 100% correct. It is a Frogwinder. Thanks for pointing out my oversight. So Jeff has at least two of them.
Jim, Model Racing Journal had a "Frogwinder" build article in the late 60s. It's also on the Steve Okeefe DVDs.
