Aside from the four mounting holes, is the 2D IFC body the same as the mag frame body or is the bottom trimmed off similar to the IFC Cheetah. I recently acquired a mag frame body and thought I might build a 2D IFC car which has proven to be the most elusive Cox car for me to find. Had and sold one 20 years ago and just can't remember if they are the same and can't tell for sure looking at pictures on Google. Thanks.

Great subject Darrel.

Found these pics which is what I thought. They did not cut the body. but would have only added holes to mount to the IFC chassis.

This might be of interest to you Darrell ?

The IFC 2D, listed here on line 32 as "Inline" had a production number of 22,400 made. Not sold, but made. Some may of well been dumped?

Thanks Martin. I think they must have dumped about 22,000... I've been on ebay since 1999 checking for cox cars daily
and I'll bet I could count on one hand how many I've seen for sale there.
