First track

 

Eight-lane Gerding King, used.

 

Second track

 

Eight-lane Chris Dadds Kingleman, used.

 

These two tracks are located in Buena Park, CA. Buena Park, CA, is in Orange County. People can assist dismantling the tracks. They are set up and working

 

Buena Park Raceway is preparing to remodel the interior of the raceway. They will go from four tracks down to two tracks. These tracks are the two that need to be sold.  

 

They need to be sold before interior remodeling begins. So the owner is allowing us to assist him in selling these tracks. Call for price. The King is approximately 18.5' x  50'. The Kingleman is aprox 24' x 17".

Power supplies, computers, and all lap counting race directing systems come with the tracks. Lapmaster is on The King. We believe the Kingleman also has the Lapmaster system.

 

If you have the space for one or both tracks... and can come get them or send a moving company to get them... we'll come to a fair price. I don't want to discuss price on this board. We would even look at a trade. Maybe trade for a Hillclimb.

These two tracks were offered on Facebook with prices by the owner several weeks ago. At that time, he indicated the King needed a lot of work. I don't recall what was said about the Kingleman.

It's a Kingleman – and very fun to race on!! Small and quick but very rythmic - excellent Retro or Womp track!!

I was at Buena Park Raceway today and spent a few fun hours on the King. The Facebook report on this track is somewhat misleading. There's some wear and tear on the sidewall paint, and there are a couple spots of 3" or so where the braid is up so the lanes aren't being used, but I didn't see any places where I would consider the slots excessively worn.

 

I'm pretty sure this track was new for the 2013 world championship that was held on it where a world record was set. I think it's more like a dozen years old, rather than 20-something. All the joints are smooth, and runs fine even on high power. I've seen tracks in regular use that are in worst condition. Some new braid, and this track still has life left in it.

All are welcome to drive over and run on the tracks. These tracks need to be sold. If you've wanted a used track that was near you... here they are. Low cost smaller eight-lane tracks like this Kingleman don't come for sale often.

This King track is G6. Was new in 2001 or sooner. It still is a fast track but will need a bunch of work.

Gerding didn't build an eight-lane King (G1) until late 2004.

 

When I finished my King, in May of 2005, only G1 and maybe G2, was built.

Hated that track in the back of BPR.   :dash2:

 

But that king was a great track for Retro racing!!!

The King is on eBay. The auction has an opening bid of 1500.00. No reserve. It ends in 2 days. So Thursday at about 2:30 PM PT / 5:30 PM ET

 

The Engleman is on eBay with a 2999.95 asking price and best offer option.
