Picked up a small lot of controllers recently, and two of them are unknown to me.

I know the bottom two (Tradeship & Towerstat), but don't recognize the top two:

I thought the Tedmor Pro V controller was a more modern item when I first saw the photo, but it's got an old-fashioned phone jack for connections. Wires are red, yellow, and black. On the other side it has an on/off style slide switch.

And the other one doesn't ring a bell at all. The red label says: "New from ELLIS R/C INC., Green brake, Blue & Red power, Bayshore N.Y." So I guess it's an Ellis R/C controller for slot cars - never saw one before.

Any ideas?

That blue one looks like it should have some sort of needle coming out of the other end.  :D

I can't even figure out how you would hold the blue one.

Don, years ago I bought out a distributor here on Long Island (where Bayshore is).

In the lot was a large amount of brush springs that appeared to be for R/C cars made by Ellis.

Up until I've seen your bizarre hypodermic controller that is the only time I ever heard of the name.

The blue one looks like it may have come from a cheap set.

Well, at least Joe has heard of Ellis R/C!

Pretty simple, in fact, and very comfortable, the index and middle fingers go in the rings and you operate the plunger with the thumb. Hmm, it's assembled with four screws, one missing, guess it begs to be opened.

But I guess now we'll call it the hypodermic controller...
