Man than was a lot of work. You did a great job Rodney.
I have to ask does nobody make a kit version of this car? I know you like the challenge. I am not a fan of 3D printing. Of what I have seen they are crude and need so much finishing to make them look presentable, as you have done here.
Keep up the great builds, love to see your work. Never know what you will pick next as a subject.
Is this the same car? I see now it is a 4 door. I bet you could section and make it a 2 door.
I did find other Revell kits but they are 1/25 scale. They are not cheap either.

I came across this 2 Door and flared Datsun 510 plastic model kit on eBay:

Found those too Ernie, but they are the 1/25, does not seem like much but noticeably smaller when you put the side by side. And its already a small car.

Great unusual subject matter as usual.
Looks very cool.
Hmmm, a Datsun 510 on a Pactra chassis?
I've seen that somewhere before.
Actually not full Pactra chassis but uses some Pactra/Competition Bits.
Another unfinished project from the vault.
This is a vintage Revell BRE 510 body.
The body is 1/25 and it's pretty tiny.
This thing flies down the track but holds the track like crap.
Wheelie wheels are Cobramite HO wheels.
Suppose I'll finish it someday.
By the way, 1 to 1 510's are non existent here on Long Island.
Everything here is more of a Rot-sun than Datsun.
Keep em' coming.

Someone who would pay $70 for a hard-body slot car body needs to do some self-examination.
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.

That thing is so cool.
Almost non existent in my neck of the woods.
Looks like no body roll.
He must of really tied that thing together with that heavy V-8 up front.
Looks like it might even have Mini-Lites on it, hard to tell from the pics.
40 years ago when I had my shop I had a dark green 610 that I sold to a cop friend of mine.
He put 240K miles on it til the suspension rotted off it.
Interesting note, after he retired he became Howard Sterns driver. ( not in the 610 LOL )
Thanks for sharing.

Harkens back to the days when the 510 ruled showroom stock sedan racing.
