I don't have the Eldon motor part number or FT designation for this one, assuming it's a Mabuchi. It's used on some Eldon 1/32 cars, in the plastic chassis type mounted with the narrow dimenstion facing up and down. Overall can length is 3/4", which is shorter than FT-16 types like the Russkit 22 which has a can length closer to 15/16". Width is the same as a Russkit 22.  Not sure if this one belongs in the "Can Spotters Guide" section or not, since there it seems the motors are mostly if not all for 1/24 scale. If you know the Eldon part number or FT type designation, please let me know.

Someone gave me two of these Eldon motors years ago. One was rewound, the other stock. I have no idea on part numbers or when I'll use them.

There were a couple of these being sold on eBay recently with the box; can't find them for now, and am not at home. Will look later - I should have the part number in a catalog somewhere.

They were included in their "Competition" line of cars.

Thanks Don.  In addition to them being used in some of their 1/32 regular road race cars as mentioned above, upon further checking the motor appears to be the same size as the one used in the orange and blue 1/24 dragsters.

Upon checking the Eldon dragster schematics from their service manual, the dragster motor is part number 3-02-043.  I still don't know how to classify it by FT designation though, if it has one.

I'm fairly sure that the Eldon homeset cars used a Mabuchi 15 motor.

There is a thread on Slot Forum about the early toy and slot car "can" motors.

I had an Eldon set way in the wayback that I recall had these motors:

I think they were called the Mabuchi 15 TKK, They had either gray or blue painted cans. i think that the gray-painted cans were 6v.

The only Eldon motors I have seen with the style sticker from the OP were the same size as the Mabuchi 26D.

That's thirty minutes away. I'll be there in ten.

Just found a catalog that lists the "Speed Shop Car Kits (12 volt)" and it has the #3931 Super Torque 12 Volt Motor - which I assume is the one you're looking for.

The two I have look like a shortened 26D. One is painted white, the other can is unpainted. I'll have to see if I can find them.

Looks like that's the one Don, thanks for that part #.

MG I never checked on those blue can motors from standard Eldon home set cars to see what they were called.  Mabuchi 15 TKK, I'll jot that down in my motor notes, thanks.
