Saw this today on our Womp forum and just loved the chassis! I borrowed this image from the thread to illustrate, in hopes someone has one of these in their stash (either in really great condition, or new old stock) that they wouldn’t mind selling me.

Can’t seem to find one anywhere on eBay, or anywhere else.

Anyway, fingers crossed…!

They are great little cars and handle really well... I have a few in my collection... I'll check and see if I have a spare chassis for you.

They do pop up on eBay every once in a while, but some people think they have gold and put up crazy prices for them.

We raced those as 1 of the classes in the club l belonged to, they were my favorite class, they're great for my home track cause their speed and handling is perfect for non slot racers, they'll handle an X-12 too, also a good home for old Mura Gp 20 motors

A couple of things to be aware of if planning to use one of these chassis. The rear struts are sized for 1/4" OD bearings to allow use of 1/8" axles. The struts are sized to run 7/8" OD tires. Tires that large are harder to find today, though .850 OD might work ok. There are two sets of front axle holes: the set at 3" wheelbase fits the 5/8" deep dish O-ring wheels shown in the photo above, and the 3.25" wheelbase holes are for 1/2" diameter O-ring fronts. And lastly, the motor mount bracket is sized for a 16D.

This was a much better handling chassis than the original Womp pan chassis. Though it was a significant improvement, it seems to have never gotten the popularity of the original pan chassis.

Was it replaced by the brass Parma Int. 32 & its different shaped pans?

Yes and no.  It replaced the 'mighty womp' /'wiggle womp'  two piece car for sure which required 48 pitch gears.

The 'international 32' is designed for 64 pitch gears and basically replaced the two piece frame that they had imported from

italy that Proslot later sold in an updated design which was more competitive with the Eurotoy chassis.  We raced them all in the 1990s with Wasp and Grp 12 motors.
