Floats like a butterfly stings like a bee! KCRacing prototype sidewinder for the 14xx series motors. Pyrodrone SmooX 1404 2750kv geared 15x48 on 1-3/16" x .435". Powered by a Talon25 set at 10-5-100. I broke another one!

I like how the motor and spur gear are "centered" between the rails of the chassis, at least that is how it looks to me.

What did you break?

 

Would a 1408 be bit torquey in this setup?

G …broke = runs the same numbers 

 

A 1408 won’t fit in this chassis. The rotor will hit the tire.

 

This is a prototype so KC is going to make a change and move the motor plate a little to the drivers side for clearance in the next version.
