The holidays and other things threw a monkey wrench into our efforts to hold a race around New Year's. We just couldn't pull it off this time. But we finally made it together for a little Saturday racing.
Today, we chose to run our JK Indy chassis -- the Indy ranks high on our list, as we all purchased one to create a spec class. For a change, we (except for yours truly) used LMP bodies, rather than the Indy bodies we normally run.
Doghouse host Richard Sylvester treated us to a fantastic show of speed and handling, along with Dan Parker. Eric Provost and Allen Evans were only a few laps back. And yours truly brought up the rear.
The cars looked fast -- and were:

Each driver ran four 3-minute heats. We ran two such races, taking only the better of the two results. Richard and Dan were on top of their game today!
Congratulations to Richard, Dan, and all the racers today. It was a blast, and we always have lots to say during a race -- some of it nice, some of it not so nice. But it's all in fun.
We'll soon discuss the February race, which appears to be our Indy cars on a commercial track in a few weeks. More on that later.
Enjoy your racing.
