I received this car and a Pi controller recently. I had never see either before. Reminds me of Tamiya?

We've talked about this one a lot Paul. Marked Pi Japan and still a bit of a mystery, but there's a connection to Gakken, the Japanese company. The other car in this series was a Ferrari P2 and that body is marked Gakken.

As a coincidence I stumbled on this old Parma ad on fb today. Homeset controller that I wasn't aware of looks remarkably similar to that above.
