Don't know what they are now but 10+ years ago they were badfast... IIRC, neighborhood of 1/2 second on 55' track.

I'd love to see how he built it. Is he using Carbon fiber parts for strength and weight? What gear ratio and motor combo, and even the body style and type. Turning numbers like that is seriously insane.

I never had more specific information about this achievement but the builder has not been heard from in quite awhile. Maybe information can be sourced through Piranha raceway? Don't know if Richard Curnuttes is on slotblog?
