Not on eBay, but on Bring a Trailer...

Does anybody else think $2,500 current bid is a bit steep?

These are Arizona cars and those tend to bring a higher price at resale.

Seriously, look around the "Bring a Trailer" website, there is a lot more money changing hands than on eBay. I believe people who are willing and able to spend that money on cars will do the same on toys.

I looked at the bidding history: $200, $300, $2,500 this bidder is trying to deliver a 'knockout,' as mentioned in other auctions on this site. He had a similar bidding style on a pedal car he bought.

Oh, c'mon, those three controllers might be worth as much as $8-$10, all by themselves.

I periodically have people give me their old equipment.

I got an MRC controller and no one would take it for free.

Nice collection. Thought I spied a Lancia D50 and a Morgan there.

I've been watching both BAT and eBay for a while now, and it seems like money flows more freely on BAT. Almost like eBay shoppers are bargain hunters, and those on BAT are more after the high quality items. The cars in the post above appear to be in very good condition. And boxes of that type always bring good money. I'm not sure that the controllers are of any real interest to the bidders.

Could somebody be desperate for the K&B box?

Sold for $3700.00.I guess I know where to sell my old stuff. (I'll post anything of interest here first)

Several Slotbloggers posted comments on BAT about this lot. Don't know the guy who was winning bidder.

I watched that with my jaw dropped, nothing special IMO. Run of the mill cars. But an instant collection if that is what you were looking for? :wacko2:

Makes e-bay look like bargain basement prices   :shok:

When you look at the money people are paying for cars...

Maybe they just have deeper pockets than we mere mortals.

That's $200+ per car. If there was any hidden goodies, the LASCM would have jumped in.
