What model company had you glue the sides of bodies on?

Does anybody remember what MODEL KIT company had you glue the sides of bodies on ? Was it Johan ?

This happens to be a Ford Torino .

I have some recollection of building a couple Johan models in my youth. IIRC, the body shell was a single molded piece.

Monogram and Revell had 1/32 and 1/24 kits like that.

I don't remember every using as much tape or filing as many (all) pieces to get close to the right fit.
These were dirt cheap ¢69 or something. I tried to assemble a Elva. It met with a unfortunate demise , when it collided with a Stuka resulting in a fire ball not unlike a nuclear explosion. Way too much charcoal starter. Aaaah , my misspent youth.
I've got the propaganda from the original box . I'll post it later. You can see if it's on there.
