Don't recall Sam Hanks, the others, I recall as NASCAR, Indy, & drag racing drivers.
Paul, I would assume only the AMCR company knows the answer.

He was also the most active of all these guys... there's a photo of him in one of the period magazines, at a race or a promotional event for AMCRC.

When I first got that great piece of history. I google all the names. I then reach out to everyone that were alive or had some sort of website.
Mario's PR person replied that back in those days Mario would put his name on anything. No idea if any money changed hands but it probably boosted their brand.
The good old days when a hero's autograph was something you asked for at a show or event and you got it with a smile and a thank you and your welcome.
I still give my autograph for free, just ask.
