My home slot car track located in Lagrange, Ohio, is back up for sale.

Track has a 13'x29' footprint and will need to be cut into sections to be removed from my basement. It must be be removed by June 1.

Comes with power supply, four controllers, and Trackmate lap counter system. New owner will need their own computer, monitor, and keyboard plus speakers go with it.

I will help new owner remove it.

$1,000.00.

I believe it's been on the market for a couple months. The fact it's not sectionalized may have discouraged some potential buyers.

Must be breaks in it somewhere, That can't be one single sheet of MDF/plywood.

Nice-looking track. I am sure it will find a good home.

Marc:

That is one beautiful track, but you may want to give a bit more information concerning your statement of "must be cut into sections," which may be scaring off a few potential buyers. There must be at least a few natural seams or areas that would make it easier to disassemble.

Jay,

Do you notice how similar in design that track is to your 'Orange Crush' home track?

Gregory Wells

Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap

Greg:

I sure did, except for the kink coming into the deadman it's almost exactly the same, not to mention absolutely beautiful workmanship.

Jay.

When I built the track I coupled the track sections together with a piece of 3/4" plywood and screwed the sections to it then covered the screws with Durhams wood filler.

Areas will need to be chosen to cut the braid then the track sections to disassemble it. I'm a little concerned about the bank, I don't think it can be carried out in one piece. The track could be converted to a modular design when reassembled.

I am posting pics of the build to help interested parties see how it is built.

Keep in mind that everything is screwed together, the only screws that are not accessible are on the track surface.

Update on my old slot car track that was for sale. It has been removed.

I still have all the wiring, relays, power supply, lap counter, drivers connect stations (4), four Parma Turbo controllers, monitor and key board for computer.

Parts are now located in Frankford, DE. I want to sell as a lot. PM if interested.

Where did the track go? To a "good home," I hope.

Hate to say it but if he still has all that wiring, computer, etc., I am thinking the track went to the dump.

That would be tragic, it is/was a beautiful track.
