In two weeks we will be racing at Hobbies, Slot Cars and RC Emporium in S. Daytona, FL on Sunday May 19th.

There will be two classes run on the 6 lane King track, GT Coupe and F-1 in that order.

This six-lane Blue King track offers a unique driving experience of mostly flat but very fast large radius corners.

Note that due to its 6 lane configuration we will run 4 minute heats per lane to achieve the usual 24 minutes of total race time.

Doors will open at 9am.

Pit pass - $8, Race entry is $15 per class.

Tech for GT Coupe will open at 10:15. Qualifying at 10:30.

Following the GT Coupe race we open tech for F-1.

We again had a small but enthusiastic group of racers for the 5th round of Gator Region Retro Racing (GRRR) on Greg Walker's awesome six-lane King track located in South Daytona.  Due to the somewhat anticipated small turn-out Greg asked several of his non-Retro racers to come by and help marshal and I would like to give a big Thanks! to those guys.  Here are the results of the race.

GTC was up first, quite a few really nicely painted and detailed cars, especially Nathan's Sunoco Lola, here's the line-up.

GTC Race Results.

It was a real close race for 4th between Dave Davies and Donny (Shrek) Carron with Dave taking fourth by one lap.

JP had a hard to see broken lead wire and DNF'ed.
