Building a routed track like to know the best replacement giude flags for 1/32 cars for a routed wood track. It just seems like the stock guide flags are not very deep and I have heard you guys change them out.

NSR and Slot.it 'deep wood' flags are my favorites for 1/8" shaft flags.

In addition to those two, this one works well, too.

Ramcatlarry and Mickey Thumbs are both right. The Slotting Plus guides need to be trimmed down in length. When i use them I trim them to match the Slot It deep wood guide. The Slotting Plus guide are cheaper than the Slot It guides, you get two for $5.29

FYI: The LENGTH of the flag is an issue if you like the tight radius #1 curves of most plastic set tracks.  The usual limit there is the 3/4" long flags with a commercial standard 1/8" or 3mm slot width.

I have seen some wood tracks that were routed with a 3/32" wide slot that reflected the Ninco/Scalextric plastic track. Avoid this for good serious racing.
