[old & gray]

A woman calls the hardware store and asks to speak to the paint department.

She asks the clerk “What color will I get if I mix green and blue, then mix yellow and gray?”

“Well,” the clerk replies “First I need to know if your paint is latex, oil, acrylic, or lacquer.”

“Oh, I’m not using those smelly things” she replied, “I’m breeding parakeets.”

My mother's father had a parakeet. A true English Budgie. It had an irridescent purple band around it's neck. No one could figure where that came from. Highly unusual. Stupid bird lived 18 years. When he died, gramps wanted to get another one, but Dad said "no way" . Too noisy.
