Years ago, Victor asked fellow MESAC member Roger Moon about this Porsche body. Roger said it was a version of the Porsche 910/8 Bergspyder, and Ron Von Klein made the mold that also features a squared-off rear body. Victor said everyone in MESAC had one of these bodies, and they were all painted the same. These types of Porsches are basically hillclimb cars.
I built one for myself using a body supplied by Victor. It is car no. 97 below.
Here is Ron Von Klein's car.
Another original MESAC car.
Couple of unused MESAC Porsche bodies.
Here is the one I built. I used enamel silver paint. The wheels and inserts are Russkit.
Trying out a different compound of rear tires. The car is pretty fast and is easy to drive. MESAC tires and Mid-America brand soft tires work good with no tire glue.
The car has a conventional four-rail chassis and a Mura C-can motor.
Victor said the front tires were coated with enamel paint.
