Sunday's D3 Hardbody races at Piranha Raceway in Whittier had a light turnout of racers. Racers are starting to improve their driving on this large flat track.
The GTP race had 12 entries. We divided the field into two races each with six entries.
After both GTP races were run, Mike Tipps was 1st, Victor Dubrowsky 2nd, and Eddie Shorer 3rd. The "Racer Handicap" podium had Victor 1st, Mike 2nd, and Walter Bayes 3rd.
After a quick lunch, the Mixed race was next. 10 entries, we divided the field into two races (to provide enough turn marshalls for each race).
The results of the two mixed races were combined. The Mixed race, "Lap Differential" podium had Victor Dubrowsky 1st, Mike Tipps 2nd. and Walter Baynes 3rd.
The Mixed race, "Racer Handicap" podium: Victor 1st, Walter 2nd, Mike 3rd.

The next D3 Hardbody Races at Piranha Raceway, Sunday, August 18, 2024. Piranha opens at 10 AM, GTP race at noon followed by a quick lunch, then the Mixed race.
