I do not have any experience with Skinners Epoxy, so I need info about curing temperature, time and any other things necessary to know on the procedure.

I will use it on a couple of C can motors now first.

Epoxy Instructions

#1 Clean surfaces to be bonded ( lightly sand back of magnets with 400 paper or wire brush with dremel.) Remove any loose magnet dust with magnet putty then wash off with MEK or Acetone solvent. Clean inside of can then cross hatch with exacto blade and wash with MEK or Acetone.

#2 Apply a thin coating to both the magnets and can surfaces to be bonded. Allow 25 minutes for parts to air dry

#3 Place magnets in can, position with v blocks or a slug then place in pre heated oven @ 180 F for 15 minutes. Remove from oven then let cool. Make final magnet adjustments if necessary.

#4 Pre-heat oven to 350 f (=176.67 C  :sun_bespectacled:) place setup in oven for 25 minutes
remove, cool and hone to desired gap.

Me either, but I was building ceramic magnet motors. Skinner's is supposed to be even better.

Speedy, JB Weld is staying vintage.  :laugh2:  I still remember the Slick 7 building articles that specified using JB Weld. Are you using the long-drying type or the fast-drying?

JB weld does not do the job .  Eventually it fails and you end up with a destroyed motor.

It’s fine for G12 and below as long as you use non silver solder and no acid flux on motor installs. G27 and above definitely need Koford epoxy or equivalent for magnets. Anything will fail eventually with acid flux.
