     The only race on the Piranha flat track was the SCRRA Retro Coupe. This is the anglewinder class and drew 7 racers.

 1st Place       #1  Bryan Warmack          Robert Hughes paint

 2nd Place      #4  Dennis Samson          Samson paint

 3rd Place       #7  Dale Yamashita          Sisk paint

Coupe Qualification            Top 3 super close with Bryan TQ, Duran 2nd and Dale 3rd

Coupe Results              Duran slowly pulled away to the win but a race long dogfight for 2nd between Dale and Bryan!  Neck and neck for much of the race, with Dale just ahead by a couple turns at the end!  Good race!  Fastest lap to Duran at 5.69

That paint looks like something Bob Hughes would do. Bob has never lost some of his wing car paint schemes.

That paint looks like something Bob Hughes would do. Bob has never lost some of his wing car paint schemes.

If you look at the concurs photos that is Hughes paint work.

Bob has been a local racing friend of mine since 1996. I could tell just by looking at the photos without reading anything that the body was Bob's work. When we had a raceway in Manchester, we often had discussions about body painting. In his younger years, Bob was one of the best production body painters in the US. I painted for myself & a couple friends.
