[K2 Designs]

In this thread I will be posting pictures of paint jobs that I have done for clients. These will be posted with theme of vehicle, and paint style. Some are all paint and some are combination of paint and decals. Thank you all for following and looking and feel free to leave me a comment or reach out if you have any questions.

This is a Days of Thunder themed Mellow Yellow car with a client's choice of number. The bodys a JK 4.5 Toyota. The paint is two-toned with decals.

This one is a Wood Brothers Racing themed 21 truck. The body is a JK Ford F-150. The paint is two-toned and a combination of paint and decals.

American classic Dale Earnhardt Sr. iconic Wrangler #3. Client requested this be painted on a JK Toyota 4.5. This body is all paint with no decals.

  Nice work. You may wish to try using a popsicle stick or tongue depressor with the end sanded to a chisel point, to get into corners. Make one end square and keep the other end round.  Maybe a hair dryer on low to soften your mask. Be careful of the heat, it may remove the stickyness of you mask. So apply heat cautiously. If the hair dryer doesn't work, put relief cuts on the curves then add another piece of mask covering the cut. This works great around bumper corners.

  For graphics along fenders, you can pre-bend the lettering outside of the car when it's on the transfer tape. This will assist in getting your mask into the fender crease. Then use the popsicle stick to flatten out any bubbles and burnish the edges or overlaps. Keep using the popsicle stick on trouble areas throughout the painting process. Many masks are light tack to begin with so they lift after a small bit of time or first coat of paint.

   Keep at it. They look great.

Unleash the Fire: VW 1/32 Womp Body

Step aside, mundane slot cars, there's a new king of the track in town.

This little beast sports flames that seem to leap off the body, as if it's perpetually burning rubber even when it's standing still. The vibrant, fire pattern blazes from front to back, giving it that too hot to handle vibe thats guaranteed to make the competition sweat.

But that's not all, look up, and you'll see a checkered top that screams, Victory is inevitable. The contrast between the fiery sides and the black-and-white checkered roof is like nothing youve ever seen on a Womp before. Its the perfect blend of speed and style, with just enough attitude to remind everyone else on the track that they'e just playing catch-up.

In a crowd of ordinary slot cars, this VW stands out like a beacon of pure speed. Its not just a race car, it's a statement. So, when this beauty rolls onto the track, heads will turn, jaws will drop, and everyone will know: this Womp isn't here to play; it's here to win.

Mopar Craftsman Truck #1

Black, white and blue M is paint on the sides. Barbed wire is all painted as well. The numbers, hood decals and white mopar is decals. This was a fun build that was nervous about with the barbed wire. But I think it turned out great. Give me your thoughts!

I can finally post this week's paint booth reveals. First is a replica of Ted Musgraves Mopar Craftsman Championship Truck. The body is a 4.5 JK and the body is all paint with decal numbers, hood and white mopar. This was a challenging build and custom loved it! The next one is a JK Toyota body painted blue with a yellow, orange, red fade. The body features a ghost checkered flag. This body was all paint with the exception of the numbers. Next is a Ryan Blaney 12 Bodyarmor replica. It is all paint with decal sponsors and numbers. Last is the asphalt modified. Paired to match our previous womp build.
