Can't say, I haven't used Windows in a long time. I switched to Linux in 2006. My brother-in-law has complained about every version since XP. A friend that's a retired IT pro did tell me that Win 11 works from the 'Cloud' and isn't entirely installed on the host computer, so if you don't have a continuous, fast Internet connection, it doesn't work very well.

I have no problem with Windows 11.... but I'm not a power-user.... just casual browsing mainly.... I use a couple of other apps to a lesser degree....

Remember, two wrongs don't make a right... but three lefts do! Only you're a block over and a block behind.

It's not windows vista.
Seriously, though, it's ok. Microsoft changed the UI a bit, which is the biggest challenge.
Contrary to Bill Seitz above, the os runs, even without an Internet connection. I believe that cloud connection is more to install addin features, and for authentication to Microsoft.
What I will reiterate from our other discussion is it devours resources, so you need to think of the hardware aspect. No version of windows runs as well on low end hardware. And the "minimum requirements" are just that.
Please feel free to pm me if you need more specifics on anything.

I do not like it. Do not use the cloud( one drive) feature. I had to purchase the bigger plan so I could use my pc. Plus it will back up your pc and if you delete one drive you will loose things. It took a while to figure it out were it saves things. I would of lost alot of files if I hadn't backed them up to my spare drive. Other than that issue it works great and is fast. Has a ton of AI features that it keeps pushing on you. Just have to go check on your settings now and then. I like windows 10 but that it ending unless you want to pay.

It's not Windows Vista or Windows 8.
I'm still on Windows 10 and will remain there until I switch over to Linux sometime next year.
Seems like Microsoft slips in some new useless thing that I have no use for with every Windows update. The update I did yesterday had their new AI "Copilot" garbage which I immediately uninstalled.
