What kind of masking tape do you recommend that won't allow wet paint to soak underneath and give a clean line when removed?
Masking tape recommendation?

Use something that you cut a new edge on & then burnish the edges down well. I cut new edges with a straight edge & a hobby knife with a new blade on a piece of glass. Factory tape edges depend more on how you keep the tape stored than what you actually purchase. I keep my rolls store in individual plastic bags until I use them. I also cut vinyl shelf paper on glass, but you asked about tape. If you were only spraying acrylics, I would recommend "Frog tape", if you could find it. It has a "paint-block" in the adhesive that's activated by moisture in latex & acrylic paints.
Paper tapes that have given me good results are 3M tan tapes in various widths & the yellow Tamiya.

I've used Scotch #471 plastic tape for years. I bought it at an automotive paint store.
I am not a doctor, but I played one as a child with the girl next door.

Yellow Tamiya, me too.
I use the Tamiya tape also. Get it at the local hobby shop. Works great.

Yellow Tamiya, me too.
Yes! It's easily the best tape I've ever used.

That's so much bleed-through that it almost looks like you were going for a "cat scratch" look.

Looks to me like you have to improve your burnishing skills. The wooden cuticle sticks found in the nail polish departments of stores make a great burnishing tool. A cut dowel works too.

I believe that Roger Schmitt has resumed offering Faskolor paints through his relaunch of Parma.
I'm pretty sure that Faskolor is re-badged Createx Airbrush Colors. There's usually a decent selection at Hobby Lobby. For even more colors, check out Blickart.com. Good prices, too.

Faskolor is made by Createx in CT. Most colors are available under both labels. In the past, some of the solid colors of Faskolor seemed to have slightly more pigment than the same color labeled Createx. Many acrylic craft paints can be airbrushed too when properly thinned. Delta Ceramcoat & Liquitex are two that stick to lexan like a gorilla when dry. Polly S was another.
