I wanted to let our world of racers know of the passing of another Hardbody racer, Michael Kale, who passed away on August 26, after a tough bout of cancer.
Michael would make the hour plus drive once a month to Buena Park Raceway for many years, mostly racing his own scratchbuilt cars. He was an accomplished attorney who helped some of us with our legal issues, and was a super Dodgers fan who played and coached baseball. He would have been the first to tell you he was not the fastest racer out there, but his smile showed how much he loved slot car racing. He will be missed by many.
