Palouse Slots held their fifth retro race of the season on Saturday August 31st. We had 10 racers on the roster racing four classes. Stock car, F-1, Can -Am, Coupe, alternating on two tracks. Would like to welcome back racer Dave Cuellar from Pullman Washington who took a three-year break from racing and thank you to Paul Dwyer of Spokane Washington for building the cars. With that out of the way let’s get to the race results.
First race up Stock car on Ken’s track. Robert Clements of Moscow Idaho took 1st place with 113 laps with track owner Leroy Sanders coming in second with 111 laps. John Wimett of Race Masters Pasco/Wenatchee taking 3rd with 110 laps.
Second race of the day on the red track F-1 class. Once again Robert Clements of Moscow Idaho just destroyed the field and took 1st place with 150 laps with track owner Leroy Sanders taking second with 138 laps. Tom Sunday Race Masters Pasco/ Wenatchee coming in 3rd with 137 laps.
Time to break for lunch which was delicious. Pulled pork sandwiches, ranch beans, coleslaw, chips and apple pie and ice cream for dessert. Food Coma for everyone.
Can-Am class for race three on Ken’s track. Track owner Leroy Sanders took advantage of Robert Clements blue lane blues to claim 1st place with 120 laps with Robert coming in 2nd with 115 laps. Tom Sunday of Race masters Pasco/Wenatchee coming in 3rd with 113 laps.
Last race of the day Coupe class on the red track. Rober Clements of Moscow Idaho came back with a vengeance and a smile as he took 1st place with a commanding 152 laps with Race Masters John Wimett Pasco/Wenatchee 10 laps behind to take 2nd place with 142 laps. (nice racing Robert). Paul Dwyer of Spokane Washington was beat out by inches to take 3rd place also with 142 laps.
As the season winds down we’re seeing more ties in the middle of the pack as drivers are improving. This has made for some fun and exciting racing for everyone. Palouse Slots would like to thank all the racers for their support. Next race is Saturday September 28th weather permitting.

Do you know how much voltage you run on those two tracks & are you limited to running only certain FK motors? I've been reading your race report on here since you got Ken's track. They appear to always be a fun event.
