How are JK race numbers applied?

They are not transfers. They are not self sticking so how are they applied?

Take the edge of the sheet and graze across a corner with a sharp X-acto blade until you separate the backing from the adhesive.

 

Fold the corner of the backing so you can easily separate in the future. Cut away the number you want with the backing separated.

 

Put the backing back in one piece using the fold to separate later. Trim out the individual cut away numbers.

 

It took a while to figure this out. Works every time. Try it, takes some practice.

Thanks, Chris. After some very fine digging with a small screwdriver, I found there is actually a layer of plastic that peels off. 

No way could I see that just by looking at it.
