Maybe it wasn't just advertising , a Champion motor has won both races.

On the far-right side of the group photo you see the back side of Mike Shepard. Turn around next time Mike! 
I would like to thank Mike for the great ventage cars I ran Saturday. That lotus 40 was a rocket. And the lotus always looks cool.
Also, a big thanks to Wade Osborn and Charlie Cornell for heading up the ventage race get-togethers along with a big thanks to ASCR for the facilities and hospitality.
We need to find a way to get more folks involved. ???
Looking forward to the next Ventage event.

Hey Guys I know I'm a little late but can some of you post a photo of the cars upside down to see the chassis's Please. I and just a couple of my regular Racers are very interested in Vintage slot car racing but you can't have to much of a race with 3 or 4 guys so sad I can't more guys to race these cars. Thanks from Dom's Model Car Raceway in New Jersey.

Dom I can't do any photos. As I said above the cars I ran belong to Mike Shepard.
As I recall the silver dart car I ran to finish third in the first race was a dynamic inline with a 26D. Nothing out of the ordinary just a nice clean car that handled well.
The green lotus 40 I ran in the second race was a early anglewinder (Champion or Cobra I think) with a 1" drop arm and tilt pans. It also had a 26D. That car was just the class of the field on that day.
