Back in January I asked for your advice on any improvements for our controllers in a post. The first one is here.

 

If you want a sneak peek at my new curved trigger profile you can get a hands-on experience at the Retro Rumble this weekend at Fast Eddie's raceway in St. Pete. I will have a 3D printed sample; if you want to check it out, just ask me. The shipment of production molded triggers will be here in about a week.

 

I will be giving out certificates for the new trigger as race prizes during the weekend.

Hey Jim, Even in this small slot universe, you still know how to create some interesting buzz. Keep it up! And I still have your 1981 1 ohm dual micro controller with braided to the track wiring. I did have to shunt the micros though to handle the on off with 27s on the original Space Coast Raceway banked American Raceways Black track. Good times.

Fresh off the boat. In addition to curving the new trigger from side to side I also added .05" of material to the curved face. This will give the trigger a better position when pulled to full power. The new trigger is on the bottom of the pictures. All controllers shipping after today will feature the new trigger. The trigger is part DD860. It has not been shipped to distributors.

I got my race prize trigger in the mail today.

 

It is not in the controller yet but I like it much. It has a nice rounded face that I will probably polish just a little

I put the new trigger in a controller yesterday..

 

Simple easy install and it feels great.

Yes, I have them available and they are also at distributors. I have been installing them on controllers for about a month.
