Per Russell Dobbs:

This year we will be racing at Alpine Slot Cars in Helen, GA. They have the Daytona tri-oval that we like racing these cars on.

Alpine Tri Oval.jpeg

It will be run in the same racing format as previous Reunion events.

This year, the race will be held on December 14. Since it is close to Christmas and Helen is a great location for the family at Christmas with all their decorations, we have made arrangements for Santa Claus to be there. He will be there for all the kids that show up at the track and their families.

I have not seen any track that is as family-oriented with so many kids.

Once again, guys, this event is to remember drivers and friends we have lost and to let newer drivers get introduced to who they were.

As much as I hate to say it, this year, we have a few more names to remember...

I would like to say thank you to Alpine for letting us bring our show to this amazing location this year! Big thanks to the partners who have stepped on board this year… Nick with SlotKraft… Mod-America/Parma (who has supported this from the beginning), Atlanta Slot Car Raceway, Salvino's JR Models, and Terry Kelly, who stepped on board again from Kelly Racing.

We already have a good head count, and we look forward to everyone showing up to have a great time. Nothing is on the line but fun and fellowship!

Thanks again!!!

Salvino's JR Model Company has promised that no less than  fourof their newest 'Next Gen' stock car kits will be raffled off at this event. I will personally assure that the kits are at the event.

The above are samples of what MIGHT be in the drawing. Whatever I bring will be the very latest releases.

Generally, I have the kits in hand 30 or more days before they are in the stores. Winners will be among the very first to get these kits. First ticket drawn gets first pick, etc. The exception being that if the kit is for age 21+, the winner must be 21+ to pick that kit as their prize.

Each entry will receive one free raffle ticket. Extra tickets will be available for $1 each on the day of the event.

Cash sales only. Must be present to win.

Proceeds from the ticket sales will go to the Hurricane Helene relief fund - Red Cross.

Project X Racing Products will match the total dollar amount of raffle ticket sales. If $100 is contributed, Project X will contribute an additional $100, and $200 will be sent to the Red Cross.

The SJR bodies are preferred for hardbody Stock Car racing because they are lighter weight than the old Monogram 1/24 and AMT 1/25 stock car bodies.

Word to the wise - If you are planning to attend this event and need a hotel room, please book as soon as possible.

Many hotels are cancelable at no charge if your plans or the weather changes. Each hotel has their own booking and cancellation policies so check them before making a reservation.

Can non-attendees buy raffle tickets?  Would help build the Helene relief fund.

We appreciate that you want to donate to this cause, however, we do not have a means to sell raffle tickets other than by cash at the event.

We suggest that you send your contributions directly to https://www.redcross...ne-helene.html/

Thank you.

I have been told that Salvino's JR "Next Gen" kits are impossible to find in Northern Georgia.

I have gotten the go-ahead to provide NextGen kits to Alpine below my cost so that racers may purchase them on the day of the event if desired.

When the Reunion IV event ends, any that have not been sold will return to my SUV and into "Hangar 51."

If you have a specific kit that you want to purchase, reply here, and I will bring it if I have it. First Come, First Served. No Holds.
