R/C boats. First with nitro boats in the late 1970s, then electric boats in the late 1980s. Two summers with the nitro boats, one with the electric boats. In both cases, I just had too much else going on to continue.

We raced the boats locally in a lagoon in a town close by, and ran the regionals at Lambs Farm in Libertyville, Il.

In the mid-70s, I bought kits for a RC plane, a glider, & a RC boat. After a couple years, I gave the boat kit to a friend but forgot which one. I didn't have the time to soak the pieces in the bathtub for bending. I still have the plane & glider kits, a Sig Kadet & a "I don't recall what".
