It's too new.

Edit-unless you race at PSCR, the JK home raceway. Lol

I race in WA near JK, and the new motors went on the wall for sale just over a week ago. Ive been reluctant to buy any of the older H7 motors because they sucked, and it felt like throwing money away. That left me in need of a few new motors.

We race stock cars every Friday and LMP and JK Indy once a month. I put a new H7 in a car for each class, and put one more in a backup stock car. I broke them in on the track, and they were all competitive without signs of two speeding or the brakes going away. The lap times improved slightly after break in. H7 motors and 4002 are allowed in all classes, and I didnt notice anyone with a significant speed advantage over the new H7 motors I raced. I also didnt feel like the new motors were any faster than an older H7 that was working properly. In apples to apples, the two stock cars I have with the new motors are within .03 per lap, and they are setup identically.

Overall, on a small sample size of 4, Id say my experience with the new H7 has been 100% successful in the short term. The brushes all look good, but I have limited time on each motor and cant speak to longevity.
