Stock Cars on the Royal – 10/22/24

 

Stock Cars headed to the American Royal this past week in the MVH Tuesday Night Retro Series. Ten racers ran on the middle six lanes over ten heats. Three marshals worked the corners while one racer manned the computer.  

 

Stock Cars on the Tech Table:

 

Cody Pare was turning fast laps (on every lane but one) while John Weaver was putting more laps on the counter, resulting in Weaver taking the win. Six laps behind John, Bob Hazelwood drove a consistent race to claim second while four laps back Cody settled for the bottom podium step.

 

Rollie Lapierre Jr. finished in fourth place with Rob Hayes less than a lap behind. Dan Savage and Joe Yates were in another close race, with Dan edging out Joe by less than a lap for seventh place.  

 

Cody logged the fastest lap of the night with a 3.923 on green.
