Power brake?

Just what is power brake, how does it work?
Is that like back in the '60s when we would put a battery in the brake wire to stop those cars?

I couldn't use it in can-am or coupe on the Hillclimb at Southern Rumble, the car needed more roll into the turns. But on the Tri-Oval in Stockcar I could run much deeper into the turn off the back stretch. I did de-slot a couple times in the race in that turn but I was getting greedy.
Reach out to Felix Muller, his controller outperforms my Micek Pro 3. The bottom end torque management is amazing. The trigger pull is second to none. He has worked some magic making this controller. The list is quite long getting one but we'll worth the wait. It makes driving the car that much easier.
A local racer was running a brushless spec car at P1 Raceway with his Muller modded S&K controller, his best time was a 3.107 with his controller. He tried my controller after his 4th lap he beeped the board and by the 10th lap he dropped his time to a 3.060. He picked up almost 5 hundredths a lap with no real drive time. Once again the bottom end torque management smoothes out the car and you run faster smoother laps.

Thanks fellows, but I am not asking if it is good I am asking how it works.

When the switch is on there is more brake. Thanks fellows, but I am not asking if it is good I am asking how it works.
When off there is less brake.

Gee, let me guess. A brake relay? Where have I seen that done before?

Or an FET or something like that?

Yes, I figure this is a brake relay or FET, which depending on the resistance in the normal brake circuit, will increase the brakes some. With my controllers where I use larger gauge wiring in the usual resistor brake circuit, the difference is smaller. However, some of the controllers today using USB cables or similar have such small wire in the brake circuit, the results are less than what we had in the Parma Turbo days. In that case, the brake switch probably makes a bigger deal.
