Hello Everyone!
I will formally introduce myself here, my name is Aaron Davis, and I am the manager up at Alpine Slot Cars in Helen, GA! Just wanted to make a thread to share what we are up to, and just keep people up to date on the happenings here! I hope to continue posting on this thread with our weekly league races, answer anyone's question about the facility and any events that we have planned! I'll make my first update post under this one, just wanted to give an introduction! Thank you to all the people in this forum for keeping the hobby alive, and make sure to keep sharing it with the younger generations to make sure the hobby stays alive and strong!

This week in Helen we are booked up to our eyes in field trips! We have two buses of sixth graders coming today, November 11, 2024. We also have five more buses scheduled for this Wednesday and Thursday as well! We also have a few weekly races that we have been running!
Fridays we have our Friday Night Flexi NASCAR class race. We run two different levels. The youth race runs first, which will start at 7 PM, with the adults race starting directly after. On Saturdays, we will be running two different class races. The first race Saturday will be our NSR F1 class at 4 PM, and our second race will be our NSR Modified GT3 class at 7 PM. The F1 race will be ran on our smaller road course, Slingshot Speedway. The GT3 race will be ran on our larger road course, Alpine Speedway. Then on Sunday we try to run our Modified LMP class, and afterwards will will run our ProTrack 4.5" Lexan NASCAR class. We typically try to have those races started at 1 PM and 3 PM respectively.
These classes do change from time to time for a season, but the race times themselves will remain the same.
We will keep this thread up to date whenever we change classes around, so keep your eyes peeled. We post very actively on our Facebook page as well if you would like to follow us there! Thank you all so much!
