On November fourth, six slot-heads cast their ballots at STR. Even though several absentee ballots have yet to be tabulated, the result is clear; slot racing rules. Ballot initiatives included Vintage ProTrack and Legends.
Vintage ProTrack bodies include full-size and mix-size plastic models in 1/25 or 1/24 scale. Chassis may be the old brass ProTrack or H&R. Power may be supplied by FK style motors.
Mark outdistanced the field finishing with 80.4 laps. All others were tightly bunched. In the end, it Lowell, Ron and Bob for second through fourth respectively. See below for the grid and detailed finishing order.
The Legends class specifies simple womp chassis topped by lexan Legend bodies. Power is supplied by inexpensive FK style motors. Images of the grid and details of the finishing order are shown below.
