I was rooting around through my cabinets and stumbled across two molds for 4.5 in flexi chassis. They are basically a Camaro and Mustang NASCAR body. I was making them at the same time I was doing our big tire series bodies for the 4" FCR chassis. They got lost in the "to do" cabinet. Only the Mustang is completed. This post is to gauge interest to decide if I should spend the time to complete the Camaro mold.

The Central Illinois Slot Series (CISS) race the 4 1/2" chassis.  Normally they run either a NASCAR or Dirt Late Model lexan shell.

Brian,

We're running 4.5" Stock Car (not NASCAR specific) and LMP flexi classes at Tyler Slot Cars.

Basically a body swap on the chassis. Mostly JK 4.5" flexi chassis are used.  We are considering a reduction in front wheel size from .800 to .750 because the larger front tires require quite a bit of cutting to not rub on both types of bodies.

I think these would be great for FCR and the big tire cars 4" or 4.5", and with a Camaro / Mustang on the road course we could run them as TA2 cars (Trans Am 2)

Back in the day, Slot Works sold a 4.5" flexi stock car chassis.

I loved racing 4.5 flexi cars.

I miss it.
