Super Stock
Super Stocks feature sophisticated, scratch-built, hinged in-line chassis with small diameter wheels (.75 front; .790 rear). Bodies include full-size of mid-size American Iron in 1/24 or 1/25 scale (model years 58-79). Any sealed 16D or FK style motor may be used.
Lowell posted a personal best to win the Super Stock contest. Ron finished second, about a lap down. Mark rounded out the podium.
Early Modified
This class features the simple scratch-built, in-line, “Econo” chassis with scale looking wheels. Bodies are 28-38 American Iron. Bodies may be raked and lowered without fenders. This class is a relatively new addition to the rotation and has become quite popular. The cars resemble those raced on dirt tracks during the 60s. Racing is always close due to the tight specs of the chassis.
Scott and Mark were involved in a heated battle for the top spot, both finishing with identical lap and section counts. Scott came out on top scoring a personal best. Mark was only a few feet behind. Bob finished third about a half lap behind Mark.
