I'd like to propose we remove the spec gear ratio in LMP. If ya'll want a spec pinion, at least allow the racers to pick their own spur gear.

You can have your spec rules in NASCAR, but let people tinker with their cars. Give us some freedom to do our own thing in the other classes.

The BoD is always wanting more racers but we limit the classes to a select group of chassis. Why not allow flexi 1, 2, whatever chassis that have been commercialy available. There're plenty of people that have old sh*t box chassis in their box. The racers won't be competitive but maybe it would spark there interest, It would atleast get extra racers at home races. Eddie has tons of guys that have old stuff in their boxes. Eddie has the most people racing stock cars on the oval in GRRR, his local guys love the oval. This would open the door for extra racers.

Let's approve the new Mosseti chassis.

RM has a new flexi chassis, the Saber, I've never used it but it's another option from an American company.

I'll think of some other stuff here shortly.

I don't understand why there have to be sooo many rules limiting people from trying their own thing.

I've heard there's going to be a rule limiting the body height, who cares about body height, all the bodies come off the same template so everyone has the same chance to cut there body the same way as everyone else.

Why so many rules? This is a racing series. I don't see anywhere in the name of the race series calling it the Florida IROC series.

It's time to lay off the rules some.

Just a quick note about the 2025 Season ......

Looks like the rules for 2025 will be mostly the same as 2024.  Ed, Joe, and Marcus are still making a tweak or two.  Relax ..... No body height rules and no tire rules.,  And, they voted against my idea to switch to 0.010" bodies .... at least for the Kelly bodies.  :dash2:

The 2025 Season will start on Saturday, February 8th at P1 Slot Car Raceway in Winter Garden.

The complete schedule isn't finalized just yet .... but here's what has been set so far.

January - No Race

Saturday, February 8th - Winter Garden

Saturday, March 8th - Pinellas Park

April 12th or 13th - Vero Beach

Sunday, May 4th - Winter Garden

Sunday, June 8th - Pinellas Park

July 12th or 13th - Vero Beach

August - No Race

Saturday, September 6th - Winter Garden

Sunday, October 12th - Pinellas Park

November 8th or 9th - Vero Beach

December TBD - Team Enduro & Awards Race

Dang the first race is scheduled the same day as a big retro race is and has been scheduled up in GA.

That's unfortunate.

I guess the Frostbite guys should have considered that the FSCS traditionally races on the 2nd Weekend of each month. And have done so for many, many years.  There are a couple of exceptions this year to avoid holidays, but most months are the 2nd weekend.

And there are a couple of exceptions for this year's schedule.  We historically have avoided racing on Valentine's Day weekend and Mother's Day weekend to maintain some "domestic tranquility."

I get it .... I seriously doubt that the promoter of a Retro race in North Georgia gives $0.02 about the Flexi series schedule in Central Florida.  I know I wouldn't look because there's always a conflict with some event somewhere.

But all Nick (or the other organizers) had to do was look at the schedules in this Forum going back a couple of years.  And I'm not surprised that they didn't.
