What are the considerations for wide vs. narrow, which type on which tracks, etc.
I really have never given it much thought. Your info is appreciated

Out here wide nose worked well for some on hillclimbs. Narrow nose on Kings. Both on Englemans

Depending on the driver and set up one may work better than the other. On flat/flatter style tracks I found the wide nose to drive better and turned more consistent lap times. The most common of the wide nose used is the Parma and the Betta body works well also. Matt Bruce almost exclusively runs the wide nose on all tracks. Most racers still choose to run the narrow nose mostly because that's what the top guys usually have in the podium pics. Bodies are just another tuning tool and a quick change to measure improvements.
A motor is only as fast as the chassis it's in.
