[Jay Guard]

The time has come for the first GRRR race of 2025. We will be racing at P1 Raceway in Winter Garden, FL on Sunday Jan. 26, 2025 where we will run GT Coupe, Stockcars, and Can-Am in that order.

 

Note:  We will need a minimum of 8 racers PRE-SIGNED UP at least 5 days before this race or it will be cancelled.  If you definitely plan to attend this race please sign up below and I will add your name to the list.  You can also PM me here or text/call me at (256) 473-2708.

 

 

 

Doors will open at 8am. 

Pit pass - $8. Race entry $15 per class. 

Note: If all 3 classes are entered the pit pass fee will be waived. 

- GT Coupe

- Stockcar
- Can-Am
Doors open at 8:00am, All races will be run per IRRA rules.
Tech for GT Coupe will start at 9:30 AM.
30 min following GT Coupe we will tech for Stockcar.
30 min following Stockcar we will tech for Can-Am.

It looks like we have a great group of  at least 14 racers signed up for the first race of the 2025 season at P1 raceway.

 

We wil be able to discuss any changes that WE may want to make to the race and/or championship procedures because at this point nothing is cast in stone.  So be ready to come and discuss any issues you may have.

Eddie Stilley (Nathan Pickett's granddad) did the body.  It's all in the Ford family .... but the body is actually the Mid-America Mercury Cyclone #996.

The REH "Lancer" molds include a Mercury Cyclone, I have a body.   Perhaps REH is the origin of #17.

Mid America has the Parma molds. I feel sure the Mid America Mercury/Ford and Dodge are reworks of the Parma retro stock car bodies.

 

If not they sure are good copies with a bit of reworking.
