What about the new Mosseti chassis, that's not going to be legal?

They did not vote to allow it.

You'd have to ask Ed/Joe/Marcus to be sure -  but I think that those horns/spears/daggers at the front made people nervous about the potential for damage to bodies, track walls, and/or turn marshals.   Guide flag blades do most of the damage to track braid during a de-slot, but I could see those points catching the braid if the braid isn't completely flat.

I can see how the extensions might add some balance, but it would have been nice if Mossetti had squared off those tips.

I heard the new Mosseti Chassis also increase the odds of one getting Covid at the Raceway's. They are so fast that they create a cyclone of wind around track. The winds generated from these new chassis are literally pulling the virus off the floors from under the tracks that have been dormant for 3 years, and is creating a hole new pandemic at the Raceway's they are legal at. Not to mention the hundreds of fingers that have been sliced from the hands of marshals, racers and track directors.

This is just what I heard from a friend. I haven't witnessed any of this myself. But it's a good thing the BOD didn't approve this chassis.

With my poor decision-making skills, I wanted this chassis to be legal so I could personally see the mass destruction these chassis are possible of making.

Can we put the random qualifying lane in the rules? I think it worked great at Marcus's track allowing everyone to practice on all the lanes and it seemed to keep all the lanes similar in the amount of use/rubber

You would think that 3 racers trading the lead back and forth over the last segment and all 3 finishing on the same lap in the GTP A main would have generated a race report.... Great race!

It was a great race ... even as a turn marshal.

We're spoiled by how quickly Dale posts the results and photos each month.  But he wasn't at the race and can't post until he receives the info.   Sometimes we forget that not everyone in this hobby is retired.

I hate it when "life" gets in the way of my hobby.  ;)

Rumor is that there is a race this weekend. I hope the rumor is true because my schedule is opening up that I might be able to make it.

I hope you make it.  There are three of us coming from North Florida / South Georgia and would hate to get there and not have anyone to race with.

I swear I wasn't ignoring you.  I just missed your question.

I'm not part of "y'all".   I don't get a vote.  But I do try to get the owners to start on rules sooner rather than later.   If I did get a vote, I'd probably screw a bunch of stuff up.  ;)

I VOTE THE BOD GETS A VOTE.

I heard Rollin wants open a Spur rule in LMP, SPEC PINION ONLY.

That's what a friend told me.

We can't BAN any body manufactures Rollin.

Hey ... I just want to have a chance to play with my toy cars.  And, I can't find anyone around here that's crazy enough to sign a lease so I have to travel.  That gives me a slightly different perspective now than when we had a local track.   The spec gear rule levels the playing field since I don't have anywhere to test so I don't hate it.

Bodies???   Now what makes you think I'd ban a particular body manufacturer?   :laugh2:  :shok:  :D   I have Kelly and Mid-America bodies painted for my NASCAR and LMP cars and mostly Ralph Thorne bodies painted for my GTP cars.  See .... no brand hatred.  Just lots of brand frustration.  Some times I think the ISRA has the right idea where they identify one body for the class and everyone runs the same thing.

If we do anything wild and crazy for a rule change can we adopt Marcus brushless gtp rules for the power plant or even the entire rule book. Driving his car yesterday at the viper pit made me a believer that they are a blast to drive and I feel like theyll put on a better race.

Just my crazy former young gun opinion 😂

No opinion on brushless motors or stake in your rules, but what is the reasoning for the belief that brushless motors would improve racing? Im asking out of curiosity and not trying to dispute your claim.

This would be the absolute wrong direction to take any class, THERE'S WAY TOO MANY RESTRICTIONS AND RULES. The motors aren't consistent, the ESC fail non-stop. It's the North Korea of slot cars racing rules.

If that class is adopted into the FSCS I won't race GTP anymore ,I'll probably race the series even less. Your not even allowed to scratch your nuts between lane changes, there's so many rules in the brushless classes at P1. This went from faster motors to IROC racing, how does that even happen.
