My local track races Can-Am and I'd like to build my own chassis. I'm having trouble finding a chassis jig.

Is there anyone still making a nice jig or does anyone know of a good used jig that's available?

Are you referring to Retro class chassis? :)

Precision Slot car would be what you are looking for but there web site is not showing a Retro jig at this time. You could contact them and see what they have available.

Dave at Precision Slot Car retired a little while ago and the last batch he made are all sold as far as I know. If you can find one used they are a great option.

Your best bet is to reach out to R-Geo and see if he has any left of his style. They are a little different than the PSC but I know many people have used them with great success. I have one and use it for flexi and Retro.

Best way to reach him is through Facebook or I believe Rick might be active on this site as well.

A major advantage of the RGEO jig is that you can build both 1/32 & 1/24 chassis on them. I don't think the other jigs allow this, except some of the larger ceramic honeycombed soldering plates.

Also check with Mike at Chicagoland Raceway.

A motor is only as fast as the chassis it's in.

He did, earlier.

I told him Geary is out of the jig business at least until he finds a new source for the corian style material.
