We're going to start racing JK 1/32 direct drive ready-to-run boxstock slot cars. Another easy way to get into this inexpensive hobby. I have them for sale here at $65 each.

 

Please stop buy and check these out, nothing really to do but tweak the chassis or what ever you do to help any slot car handle better for your driving skills.

I think these are a great package. Was experimenting with them with silicone coated tires. Way fun and no hassle.

FWIW, I "invented" those cars. 

 

After doing the longevity test(232? hrs) for Jerry Kulich on the Hawk 25, and experiencing the instant on-of performance, I thought there was a possibility for a direct drive car.

 

I put together a 1/24 car with a Hawk 25 and showed it to Jerry and let him drive it. While I thought it needed a bit more work, Jerry was real excited about it.

 

In what seemed like only a month to 6 weeks, Jerry walked into my raceway with a 1/32, ready to run, DD car.

 

The hardcore racer crowd never thought much of it, citing less than great brakes, but it wasn't aimed at them.

 

I  would be curious to see how that DD armature would work in a CR102 can and endbell.
