So the chassis would also be a K&B I assume? any pics of that?
K&B Challenger; usually came with it's own chassis, but here fitted to a Dynamic.
Here it is on a 1/32 Comet. The Challenger came with both white and black endplates.

Seems I already answered that, but maybe I wasn't clear, so here we go again. The chassis in your photo is a Dynamic; in my above photo I show the usual K&B chassis that goes with this motor.

I have one in an aurora chassis I got at buzz-a-rama... motor doesn't run, though. It kinda did when I got it, but I had to fix a bushing so it wasn't off kilter.

Yep, K&B was an Aurora subsidiary for a couple years and Aurora put out their own 1/32 cars and sets using K&B parts, but with the Aurora logo, and a few differences on the cars to make them cheaper. Also, the same guy who designed the original Aurora T-Jet motors designed the K&B Challenger motors (they both used a disc commutator, but the T-Jet was vertical and the Challenger was a sidewinder).
