This came with a lot of scrap motors, never seen one before. Looks like it would suit a Koford can.

I'm thinking this is a Kamen endbell, but not 100% sure.

Kelly, who were bought out by Red Fox. You can still buy these.

David, I'm pretty sure that's not accurate and hopefully someone else will chime in soon. Kelly never sold brush hoods of that design.

BTW, most all of the Kelly motor products were Red Fox produced items that Kelly marketed in the US under his brand. I am very sure of this.

From the one pic, the nylon looks like Red Fox or Kelly. However, ido not recall ever seeing brush hoods like that.

Are we sure someone didn't make them from scratch?

My request, more pics!

My thought too, Mike, Red Fox style endbell really elaborate brush hoods, fine etching there and heavy duty, drag component possibly? Very specialised though, and a good "mystery component". I think it needs a proper Frankenmotor to complete the look!

Thanks to all that have viewed and commented on this.

I'm pretty sure I have a couple of sets of these with the cans they came with somewhere in the garage. Let me see if I can locate them.

I've seen Greg's garage, and specifically his old slot car work bench. Got to give it about a .000001% chance he will be able to find what he's looking for on that bench. :D

With regard to the end bell in question, the plastic portion looks like a Kelly/Red Fox item, I seem to remember some windowed brush hoods like that and I would have guessed Kelly/Red Fox, too. But the base plate solder tabs don't look like anything I've ever seen,

Jay has good reasons for his insulting lack of faith, but I think I know roughly where they are.
