Up next is race #2 of our 2025 season. We will be running at Fast Eddies Slotcars and Raceway in Pinellas Park, FL on Sunday Feb. 23rd where we will run Stockcars (Tri-Oval), Formula One (Hillclimb), and Can-Am (Hillclimb) in that order. 

 

This will be an awesome opportunity to get in some extra practice for the upcoming Retro Rumble, which as you should know has been moved to March 28-30 this year.

 

 

Doors will open at 8am. 

 

Pit pass - $8. Race entry $15 per class. 

If all 3 classes are entered pit pass fee will be waived. 

 

Tech for Stockcars will open at 9:00. Qualify at 9:30.

30 min following Stockcars we will run Formula One. 

30 min following Formula 1 we will run Can-Am.

FYI...I have updated post #1 to reflect the correct info, hey, at least I got the topic heading correct, which is only what most people read anyway!

 

BTW...The Retro Rumble has been moved from it's previous date in late September to the new late March date due to the possibility of it being affected by hurricanes in September.

Here are the quick results for the GRRR race #2 held Feb. 23, 2025 at Fast Eddie's Raceway in Pinellas Park, FL

We had a nice turn-out of 13 drivers and a total of 35 entries.  It was a good warm-up for the upcoming Retro Rumble.

BTW...I'll get some more pictures up in the next few days.

 

First up were the Stockcars run on Fast Eddie's big 126' Ogilvie Tri-Oval

The overall winners were from L to R: 2nd Brandon Eden, 1st Jeff Bonanno, 3rd Jay Guard

 

Next up was the Can-Am class run on the high banked Hillclimb.

The overall winners were from L to R: 2nd Brandon Eden, 1st Jeff Bonanno, 3rd Rick Moore

 

Last was the F1 class also run on the high banked Hillclimb.

The overall winners were from L to R: 2nd Terry Tawney, 1st Jeff Bonanno, 3rd "Fast Eddie" Hoffman
