I like it. I save cards from parts I use on vintage builds as a method of authentication, to present to the owner.
Cards from new modern builds also prove I'm using the best parts not just used junk.

But with the popularity of slot racing in the 1960's, there should have been one. Slot racing became a stairstep for a few companies that later branched out to become successful businesses in other industries. The Illinois Institute of Technology used slot cars to test several theoretical designs.
As to header cards and other packaging, I tossed it right away. Couldn't see a need to save any of it. Too late now. I love to see what the list prices were back then. 98 cents for a vac formed body. $1.98 for a chassis. Damned inflation!

That is a great idea. Talk about a great way to save some slot car history. They would look great as collage for the man cave.
