[Jay Guard]

For the next GRRR race of 2025 we will be racing at P1 Raceway in Winter Garden, FL on Sunday Apr. 27, 2025.

We will run GT Coupe, Stockcars, and Can-Am in that order.

 

Note:  This race was previously scheduled for May 18th but has been moved forward to give racers more time for friends and family around the Memorial Day time frame.

 

 

 

Doors will open at 8am. 

Pit pass - $8. Race entry $15 per class. 

Note: If all 3 classes are entered the pit pass fee will be waived. 

- GT Coupe

- Stockcar
- Can-Am
Doors open at 8:00am, All races will be run per IRRA rules.
Tech for GT Coupe will start at 9:30 AM.
30 min following GT Coupe we will tech for Stockcar.
30 min following Stockcar we will tech for Can-Am.

We had great races and a pretty good turn-out for GRRR race #4 at Marcos Ramos' P1 Raceway.

 

First race up was the GT Coupes and here is the 11 car line-up.

 

First order of business was Concours, 1st: n/a   2nd:  n/a   3rd: Jay Guard

 

Then it was time to qualify, here are the results.

The next race up was the Stockcars, here is the 11 car line-up.

 

Next was Stockcar Concours, L to R:   2nd: Ken Smoak  1st: Don Bonanno  3rd: Terry Tawney

 

Then it was time to qualify, here are the results.  It was super close for 3rd with only .008 seconds between 3 drivers.

 

"B" main results.  A super close race for first with Jeremy just ahead of Jon by a mere 7 sections for the win.

Overall Stockcar results.  A close one for 4th place with Jay just one lap ahead of Terry.

The last race of the day was Can-Am, here is the 11 car line-up.

 

Next was Can-Am Concours, L to R:   2nd: Wayne Thomas  1st: Eddie Hoffman  3rd: Don Bonanno

 

Then it was time to qualify, here are the results.  It was a tie for 3rd between Terry and Jon with the second time determining 3rd..

Overall Can-Am results.  In a bit of a twist Jay was able to take 3rd place overall from the B Main.
